Eli Reifman will begin his jail sentence on Sunday, after the Supreme Court yesterday dismissed his appeal and upheld the ruling and sentencing by the Tel Aviv District Court. The court sentenced him to four years in jail, after convicting him of aggravated fraud, forgery, and use of forged corporate documents.
Judge David Rosen sentenced him in early September, after convicting him two months earlier. Last week, Reifman appealed the sentence, contending a contradiction between the foundation of the civil and criminal cases against him. The Supreme Court disagreed.
