Bethel Finance news:
Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) chairman Ilan Ben Dov is stepping down as chairman of the company. He will continue to serve as a director.

Partner's board of directors will convene within a few days to appoint Ben Dov's successor. The leading candidate is Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd. (TASE: MGDL) chairman Aharon Fogel.

Ben Dov indirectly controls Partner through his direct and indirect stakes in Suny Electronics Ltd. (TASE: SUNY), which controls Scailex Corporation (TASE: SCIX; Pink Sheets:SCIXF), which in turn owns 44.55% of Partner, of which only 16.6% is not attached. Suny and Scailex together own 45.9% of the company.

Two weeks ago, Scailex announced that it planned to sell part of its stake in Partner, the Orange franchisee in Israel, at what it termed "a substantially higher price than Partner's market price."

"Partner's share price fell 0.5% in early trading on the TASE today to NIS 35.17, after falling 0.3% on Nasdaq on Friday to $9.02, giving a market cap of $1.4 billion" Said Mr. Cedric Marmet from Bethel Finance Ltd.
