Bethel Finance: Shekel-dollar rate up following US jobs report

www.bethelfinance.com
Bethel Finance news:

"The shekel continued to weaken against the dollar at the opening of inter-bank trading today, and fell 0.14% to NIS 3.844/$ compared with Friday's representative rate, while the euro strengthened 0.31% to NIS 4.90/€. The shekel-dollar rate is at a 16-month high, whereas the shekel-euro rate is at a low that hasn't been seen for many months" says Mr. Cedric Marmet from Bethel Finance Ltd.

One of the main reasons the dollar is strengthening is the publication of the US 2011 jobs report this past Friday, which shows that the US economy is strengthening with more people entering the job market, and a drop in the unemployment rate to 8.5%.
