Bethel Finance news:
The shekel is strengthening against the dollar and euro in morning inter-bank trading today. The shekel-dollar exchange rate is down 0.21%, compared with yesterday's representative rate, to NIS 3.841/$ and the shekel-euro exchange rate is down 0.10% to NIS 4.885/€.

In international markets, the dollar is stable against leading currencies. The dollar-euro exchange rate is trading at a 15-month low of $1.27/€, and the dollar-yen exchange rate is ¥76.9/$.

The strengthening of the dollar against leading currencies appears to have slowed while investors await news from Europe, including today's €17 billion bond issues by Italy and Spain. In addition, the European Central Bank will announce the euro interest rate for January today.
