President Barack Obama is looking for deep-pocketed Democrats to fund his re-election after dropping his opposition to a new breed of political-action committee, and some allies have set their sights on a Hollywood billionaire who ranks as one of the Democrats' biggest-ever donors.
Late Monday, in an email to supporters, the Obama campaign said members of the administration would help raise money for Priorities USA, one of the new independent groups known as super PACs that may raise unlimited amounts of cash.
