Tickets for the upcoming Madonna concert on May 29 at the Ramat Gan Stadium will cost NIS 240-490. Tickets for the VIP section, including seats in front of the stage, will cost an average of NIS 1,500.
Prices are cheaper than Madonna's concert in Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park in September 2009, even though the Ramat Gan venue is much smaller, with only 30,000 tickets being sold.
Madonna is kicking off her global tour in Israel. The venue in Ramat Gan will include a 1,850-square meter stage the height of a six-storey building, with a satellite stage in the middle where Madonna will spend appear for most of the show.
Producer Shuki Weiss will begin selling tickets immediately to Madonna's fan club. Sales to the general public will begin on Friday, February 10.
Madonna will arrive in Israel two weeks ahead of the performance for final rehearsals. Her entourage will include hundreds of technicians, stagehands, dancers, musicians, and singers.
