Bethel Finance news:
Shlomo Maoz, the former chief economist of Excellence Investments Ltd. (TASE: EXCE), is demanding a NIS 3 million severance package. Excellence has rejected the demand, saying that it far exceeds what he is owed.
Maoz earned NIS 1 million a year. Excellence's management fired him last month, after a rant against the "Ashkenazi elite" in a speech at the Sapir Academic College last month.
In an interview with "Globes" yesterday, Excellence CEO David Baruch said that he told Maoz in the wake of his speech, "Shlomo, spare me your presence. You can no longer carry the name of Excellence."
