Bethel Finance news:

The shekel is weakening against the dollar in inter-bank trading today, but strengthening against the euro. The shekel-dollar exchange rate is up 0.06%, compared with yesterday's representative rate, to NIS 3.73/$, and the shekel-euro exchange rate is down 0.3% to NIS 4.99/€. This follows continued concerns over the fate of the eurozone after Standard & Poor's put 17 eurozone countries on review for a possible downgrade of their credit ratings.

In international markets, the dollar is trading at $1.338/€ against the euro.

Stock markets in Asia fell today, following rises yesterday on Wall Street. European stock markets closed with rises following investors' optimism ahead of the summit between German Chancellor Angela Markel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who said that they are very close to reaching a final agreement that would strengthen Europe's fiscal discipline.
