Bethel Finances: Oil Refineries leads TASE gains

Bethel Finance news:

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) rose today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index rose 0.62% to 1,334.41 points, the Tel Aviv 100 Index rose 0.53% to 1,211.11 points, and the TechBlue 50 Index rose 0.48% to 286.79 points. Turnover was NIS 870 million.

The TASE will be closed on Monday and Tuesday for Passover.

In the bond market, long-term Shahar unlinked government bonds rose by up to 0.1% and long-term Galil CPI-linked bonds ranged between losses of 0.3% and gains of 0.3%. The corporate bond benchmark Tel-Bond 20 Index fell 0.02%.

In the foreign currency market, options pointed to a 0.03% rise in the shekel-dollar exchange to NIS 3.417/$, but a 0.35% drop in the shekel-euro exchange rate to NIS 4.931/€.

In the stock market, Oil Refineries Ltd. (TASE:ORL) rose 3.1% for the biggest gain among Tel Aviv 25 shares. Leviathan partner Ratio Oil Exploration (1992) LP (TASE:RATI.L) fell 1.6% on the day's largest turnover of NIS 74 million.

NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) rose 2.5%, correcting for most of Thursday's drop of 2.8%.

Mobile carriers Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE:CEL; TASE:CEL) and Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) continued their slide, falling 1.8% and 0.3%, respectively. Partner announced today that it was considering a NIS 1.2 billion debt issue.

Kardan NV (TASE: KRNV;AEX:KARD) rose 3.8%. Leader Capital Markets today published a "Buy" recommendation for the company with a target price 22% above today's opening price.

Globe Exploration LP (TASE: GLEX.L) fell 6% after announcing a four-month delay in the start of drilling at its Ofek 1 well. Israel Financial Levers Ltd. (TASE:LVR) fell 0.1% after the Petroleum Supervisor rejected the company's request to transfer its rights to the Shemen license.
