Bethel Finance news:

The shekel strengthened in morning inter-bank trading today against the dollar as well as against the euro. The shekel dollar rate was down 0.3% to NIS 3.401/$ and the shekel euro rate was down 0.6% to NIS 4.873/€.

In international markets, the dollar is trading steadily against the shekel, the Euro is trading at $1.43/€ and the Japanese yen is trading at ¥80.9/$.

Tomorrow, regulations canceling tax foreign investors pay on capital gains from short-term securities are expected to come into effect. The purpose of this measure is to reduce the number of foreign speculators trading on the local market who are taking advantage of low dollar interest rates and are taking inexpensive short-term dollar loans.
