VoIP solutions developer AudioCodes Ltd. (Nasdaq: AUDC; TASE: AUDC) today announced a new strategic partnership with Blackberry maker Research in Motion Ltd. (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM). Sources believe that the collaboration will generate millions of dollars in annual revenue for the VoIP solutions developer .
AudioCodes chairman, president and CEO Shabtai Adlersberg said, "Our strategy is to cooperate with global companies. We integrate with their solutions, which enables us to continue selling on a global scale without heavy investments."
AudioCodes COO Lior Aldema said, “Enterprise mobility is a strategic opportunity that AudioCodes continues to pursue. Our ability to enable deployments of BlackBerry Mobile Voice System 5 for legacy PBX and new IP-PBX environments demonstrates the important role AudioCodes plays in this explosive market.”
AudioCodes already collaborates with Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq: MSFT), and Alcatel-Lucent SA (NYSE; Euronext: ALU).
AudioCodes raised its full-year 2011 revenue guidance to $167-174 million from $165-173 million. It raised its earnings per share guidance to $0.43-0.47 ($18.2-19.9 million) from $0.41-0.46.
