Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) president and CEO Galia Maor (68) was in second place, with a salary cost of NIS 8.5 million. She is followed by Ampal-American Israel Corporation (Nasdaq: AMPL; TASE:AMPL) CFO Irit Eluz (44), with a salary cost of NIS 6.7 million; First International Bank of Israel (TASE: FTIN) CEO Smadar Barber-Zadik (47), with a salary cost of NIS 6.3 million; and DS Apex Holdings Ltd. (TASE:DSAP) chairwoman Gabriella Ravid (64), with a salary cost of NIS 5.7 million.
The next five spots are held by Isracard Ltd. chairwoman Irit Isaacson, Azrieli Group Ltd. (TASE: AZRG) VP Dana Azrieli (the daughter of chairman David Azrieli), Property and Building Ltd. (TASE: PTBL) CEO Sagi Eitan, Rami Levi Chain Stores Hashikma Marketing 2006 Ltd. (TASE:RMLI) treasurer Adina Levy (the wife of Rami Levy), and Bank Leumi deputy CEO and head of corporate division, Rakefet Russak-Aminach.
Other top-paid women executives include Strauss Group Ltd. (TASE:STRS) chairwoman Ofra Strauss (50), in 14th place, with a salary cost of NIS 2.98 million in 2010; Property and Building subsidiary Bayside Land Corp. Ltd.(Gav Yam) (TASE: BYSD1) CEO Sharon Schweppe (46), in 15th place, with a salary cost of NIS 2.75 million. AFI Development plc (LSE:AFID) marketing and business development manager Zvia Leviev (the daughter of Africa-Israel Investments Ltd. (TASE:AFIL) chairman Lev Leviev), in 21st place, with a salary cost of NIS 1.82 million; Ormat Industries Ltd. (TASE: ORMT) CEO Yehudit Bronicki (71), with a salary cost of NIS 1.57 million; and Can-Fite BioPharma Ltd. (TASE:CFBI) CEO Pnina Fishman (62), in 24th place, with a salary cost of NIS 1.54 million.
