The Tel Aviv District Prosecutor (Taxes and Economics) will indict former Income Tax Commissioner Yair Rabinovitch on antitrust charge, subject to a hearing.
The prosecutor is charging Rabinovitch for arranging a cartel, as defined by the Antitrust Law, which distorted the results of a tender published by the receiver of the property known as Hamashbir Lazarchan building in Tiberias.
The Antitrust Authority opened the investigation against Rabinovitch and his partners in 2010. The case was handed to the prosecutor a few months ago.
