Finance Minister Jim Flaherty and Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird will pay a visit to Israel next week.
Both ministers will travel to Israel after the annual World Economic Forum meetings in Davos, Switzerland, this week, which runs until Jan. 29.
According to the Canadian Jewish News, the ministers will start their week-long trip with a gala dinner in Jerusalem on Feb. 1. They will also hold meetings with Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz.
Baird spent five days in the Middle East last year, including meeting with Salam Fayad, the prime minister of the Palestinian Authority, in the West Bank.
