Bethel Finance: Dollar Up, Euro Down

The official value of the shekel slipped an average of .059 percent, Friday, in mixed trading against the other currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.795, up .556 percent while the Euro declined two tenths of a percent to 5.0371 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.8728, up .133 percent, while the Japanese yen inched up .09 percent, 100 yen buying 4.9022 shekels.
