Bethel Finance: Gasoline prices to fall, diesel to rise

www.bethelfinance.com

Bethel Finance news:

The consumer price of gasoline will apparently fall by NIS 0.12 per liter at midnight on November 30. The Ministry of National Infrastructures will decide on the price for fuel for December in two days time. At the same time, however, the price for diesel will likely rise by NIS 0.07 per liter, due to seasonal factors, including the demand for fuel for heating, due to the early onset of cold weather.

"Market sources attribute the pending fall in gasoline prices to the regional ripples from the fall of Qaddafi in Libya. Libyan oil has a relative strong effect on CIF La Vera trade prices for fuels in the Mediterranean basin, which are the basis for setting the price of gasoline in Israel" said Mr. Cedric Marmet from Bethel Finance Ltd.

The pending drop in gasoline prices is the second consecutive monthly drop. The price of self-service 95 octane gasoline was cut by NIS 0.07 per liter to NIS 7.22 on November 1.
